Where Authenticity Meets Practice

Yin Yoga uses long-held, passive postures (typically 3–7 minutes) to target connective tissues such as fascia, ligaments, and joints. The practice enhances flexibility, joint mobility, and energy flow while encouraging stillness and relaxation.
(Yin is not typically recommended for students with joint hypermobility and connective tissue diseases like Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, however these disorders also cause tightness in parts of the body and modifications can be made in the posture to limit hyperextension in joints.)
