Hatha Yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on the fundamentals: physical postures (asanas), breath control (prāṇāyāma), and mindful awareness.
Teaching Hatha yoga at Mandala means using clear and simple cues that guide you safely and effectively through each posture, with classes intentionally sequenced to balance strength and ease, effort and rest. Direct language, using phrases like "press your feet into the mat" or "relax your shoulders", allows students to stay present in their practice, build confidence in their movements, and develop a deeper awareness of body alignment and breath connection.
Basics focuses on building foundations for safe alignment, connecting breath with movement, and creating simple shapes with the body. Perfect for true beginners or anyone returning to practice.
Gentle offers slow, supportive movement with longer exhalations and ample props. Nervous system friendly and ideal for stress relief, mobility, and mindful presence.
Intermediate introduces longer holds, more challenging postures, and deeper breathwork. Expect a steady, purposeful pace that allows you to deepen your practice by exploring new postures safely and confidently.
Advanced provides a deeper dive for seasoned practitioners. It includes challenging postures, intelligent progressions, pranayama, and longer holds to cultivate mastery with humility.
Unity welcomes beginners, experienced students, and everyone in between, to practice mindful movement together in one welcoming space at the level of challenge that feels right for their body.

Morning Flow awakens the body and clears the mind with flowing motion akin to the quality of water. Discover the relationship of movement and energy while connecting breath through smooth and continuous posture sequences.
Steady Strength focuses on building stability through isometric holds designed to build strength by safely engaging muscles without strain or quick movements. Created with care for those managing joint hypermobility and connective tissue conditions (and supportive for all bodies), this practice emphasizes safe alignment and joint protection.
Agni & Soma is the representation of fire and water, the sun and the moon, both opposite yet complementary principles of nature. Agni builds internal heat, strength, and focus with strong and dynamic postures. Soma cultivates cool, nourishing restoration with gentle stretches, long holds, and deep breathing. In practice, together they ignite your energy and restore your calm.
Mindful Movement blends practices from yoga, tai chi, and restorative movement in a way that welcomes everyone, especially those living with pain, injuries, or limited flexibility. Drawing from the intelligence of a physical therapy approach, movements are modified for each person, creating a safe environment where people can move without fear. Every class closes with guided meditation to calm the nervous system, which is especially powerful for those navigating chronic pain, trauma, or stress. The goal is to meet you where you are and help you feel more connected, capable, and at home in your own body and mind.
Chair Yoga is a gentle, supportive class that invites you to experience the benefits of yoga by using a chair in seated and standing poses to build strength, increase flexibility, and improve balance. Ideal for seniors, those with limited mobility, or anyone recovering from injury.
Yin Yoga uses long-held, passive postures (typically 3–7 minutes) to target connective tissues such as fascia, ligaments, and joints. The practice enhances flexibility, joint mobility, and energy flow while encouraging mindfulness and relaxation. Yin is not recommended for students with joint hypermobility and connective tissue diseases like Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
Prenatal Yoga is lovingly designed for expectant mothers in all stages of pregnancy and post-pregnancy. Through gentle movement, breathwork, and deep relaxation, you’ll learn to listen to your body, connect with your baby, and prepare for a calm, empowered birth experience. Each class offers time to move, rest, and build community with others on the same journey.
Roll & Release Yoga combines movement with self-myofascial release techniques using props such as foam rollers, therapy balls, and blocks. Students are guided through targeted rolling sequences to release tension in key muscle groups, followed by yoga postures to integrate mobility gains and relaxation. This class supports recovery, stress relief, and injury prevention, making it suitable for all levels.
Holding Space is a gentle, grounding class that blends mindful movement with the soothing vibrations of sound bowls. Designed with trauma-informed principles, students are invited to move at their own pace in a compassionate environment. This practice emphasizes safety, choice, and self-awareness. Reconnect with your body, calm your nervous system, and restore balance through movement and sound.
Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra combines two practices to promote relaxation. Restorative Yoga activates the body's "rest and digest" response of the parasympathetic nervous system. This activation is crucial for reducing stress and anxiety, which helps to calm the mind and body, promoting overall mental well-being. Yoga Nidra, or Yogic Sleep, is a guided meditation practice that aims to induce a state of deep relaxation while the mind remains aware.

Workshops
A yoga workshop is a special class that’s longer and more focused than a regular session. It gives you the chance to slow down, learn in detail, and explore a specific theme. Workshops usually last a few hours and are designed for all levels. You’ll get extra guidance, time to ask questions, and leave feeling refreshed, supported, and inspired in your practice.
Class Series
Instead of dropping into a single class, a class series is like a course of a single type of class where each session connects to the next, offering a more structured learning experience than drop-in classes. Students sign up for the whole series (for example, “6-week Beginner Yoga Series” or “4-week Meditation & Breathwork Series”).
Events
At Mandala we like to open the studio to special gatherings that blend yoga together with art, playfulness, wellness activities, and special life events to offer students a unique experience beyond a regular class. We provide the space for opportunities to cultivate imaginative community-building activities designed to inspire creativity, inclusion, connection, and collaboration in meaningful ways.
